The work “Summer Day” was made in watercolor from life, during a summer plein air. As I passed by an old hydroelectric power station, I noticed a white heron hunting for the rushing waters on the rocky shore. This view was the inspiration for the painting.
P.S. In autumn, immediately after the open air, restoration work began at this hydroelectric power plant, and the coast was also cleared at the entrance, so now this view no longer exists.
