The painting depicts the liberation of G. Polacka, my grandfather who went through the entire Second World War, who fought on Katyusha, the name of the barrelless field rocket artillery systems (first of all, and initially - BM-13, and later also BM-8, M-31 and others) Such installations were actively used by the Red Army.
